For sun worshippers a deep, rich tan is to be coveted above gold. In our busy world hopping over to the salon to tan seems like one more thing to try to pack into an already overcramped schedule. But, most people don't want to give up looking like bronzed beauties just because they're busy. Since many people live in cold areas during the winter months it maybe very important for those who enjoy a tan to keep it year round. The ability to own a tanning bed or booth may be the answer to the sun challenged of colder regions.

Tanning beds and booths utilize UV rays from bulbs to tan an individual. They also allow people to receive an even tan that even the most dedicated sun worshipper can argue over. UVA and UVB rays work in conjunction with one another to spur melanin cells to produce tanning results on the skin. A tanner that utilizes a bed or booth may have a pink hue to their skin in the beginning. But as the melanin producers in the body kick in this changes to a golden glow.

There are many different wattages, looks, and colors to match any decor. Booths sometimes are more cost efficient than beds. Sales prices on booths can start at $800 and for beds sales prices are close to $1700. The higher quality the bed or booth the higher the price tag. Someone looking for a high end bed can spend a few thousand dollars for their investment.
